The Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing Summit 2012 will be held October 25 – 26, 2012, at the Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa, Las Vegas, NV.
The event will highlight challenges and opportunities for aerospace and defense manufacturing, covering topics such as improved quality assurance systems, logistics, optimization of the manufacturing process, costs effectiveness and readiness for industry shifts, agility, flexibility and innovation.
The event program includes keynote presentations, case studies focused on innovated technologies in the industry, a panel discussion composed of industry practitioners willing to share ideas and debate strategic issues of this complex sector. Additionally there will be luncheons, cocktail receptions, and gala dinners are also part of the agenda.
Participants at the event are industrial and governmental organizations such as: NASA, Office of the Secretary of Defense; Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Honeywell Aerospace, Harris Corporation among others.
Most of these transnational corporations are having operation plants in Mexico functioning as Mexican Maquiladoras.
Senior-level executives from the aerospace and defense industry such as General Managers, SVPs, VPs, Directors from manufacturing, production, plant operations and management, project and Program Management will share their solutions and expertise in the field of matters.
Taking the advantage of the immediate access to California and Nevada States, the event can bring networking opportunities for Mexico Manufacturers from the defense and aerospace industry in order to develop future business contacts.
Mexico’s Aerospace Industry has grown from 100 U.S. and European manufacturers in 2004 to over 300 in 2012 where only in Baja California are over 50 aerospace and defense companies, dedicated to manufacture and assemble parts and components for this sector.
