MEDevice Forum San Diego was a two-day medical event that was held at The San Diego Convention Center.
Hundreds of medical device professionals from all over Southern California and Baja California assisted the event in order to keep up with new medical technology and industry news, evaluating potential business partnerships.
The list for suppliers exhibiting included transnational companies such as Phillips-Medisize Corp, Norman Noble AQS Inc., B. Braun Medical Inc., Danco Machine, Inc., , Inc., Novo Engineering, Inc., , Symbient Product Development, Toxikon Corp., WuXi AppTec, Inc., Zeus, Inc., , Providien etc.
This was an important regional event between California and Baja California, with an impact on industrial relations, especially for Tijuana Maquiladora Industry.
The medical-device sector is a priority sector in Baja California. Attendees from Mexico Corporations had the opportunity to seek out material and component recommendations and get suggestions for ways to improve production processes, basically concentrating their demand for components such as plastic parts (high precision molded parts, molding for commodities, tubing and other extruded parts such as plastic film).
This forum helped to support local and regional suppliers from Baja California and California to establish networks with the medical industry, due to this integration and participation of both neighbors’ states.
The attendees at the MEDevice Supplier Showcase also could assist at the new Design & Manufacturing Cali Baja Supplier Showcase.
The Design & Manufacturing Cali Baja Supplier Showcase presented advanced design and manufacturing suppliers from San Diego & Imperial Counties and Baja California, Mexico.
