Techba Aerospace program in Baja California

The Baja California aerospace industry along with the government, organizations and related educational institutes in Mexico is organizing a plenary session with Techba AeroCamp.
TechBA, is one of the technology business accelerators, created in 2004, by the United States-Mexico Foundation for Science (FUMEC), sponsored by the Mexican Ministry of Economy.
This August 27th and 28th, Techba aerospace experts will arrive from Madrid, Montreal and Seattle to have a private one-on-one sessions with selected Mexican PYMES, at the World Trade Center Tijuana.
This initiative is part of a more extensive program beginning August 27th till October 3th, 2012 in different regions of Mexico. It is a joint initiative of different Techba offices in Madrid, Montreal, and Seattle.
This program was created to help small and medium local Mexico Manufacturers to enter into the aerospace market. The present program is focusing on the supply chain of three important multinational companies Airbus, Boeing and Bombardier.
The areas which the experts will provide information on are Supply Chain and Ecosystem of these three majors OEMs in order to explain the way they interact with their worldwide suppliers; the certifications necessary such as AS9100 or NADCAP; Total Quality Management, how can a small or a medium supplier reach a quality production standard; Mexican Market in order to detect opportunities from Mexico to abroad.
After all this preparation, there is a practical opportunity for small and medium Mexican companies of facing new clients at the Aero Meeting in Guadalajara this year where, Techba will participate with a booth for support.
